Fort Niagara
Fort Niagara is one America’s oldest forts. Located on the Niagara River, it was the one place any military troop would want to inhabit. The troops that took over this fort would have the ultimate power of controlling the passage to the Great Lakes. Aside from being a historical landmark, it is also housing two specific entities that many people have been seeing since 1800s. The first is the headless torso of Henri LeClerc, who is said to walk around discombobulated and confused. The other, is seen in the cemetery, a kind of hobgoblin that wanders still teasing the non-dead.

Gadsby’s Tavern & Museum
Old Town Alexandria, Virginia is one of the most historic sections in the D.C. area. The town has seen many wars, as well as many historical events. Along with Old Town’s standing, comes one of it’s oldest tavern, Gadsby’s. This place is said to be haunted by a young woman in 1800’s garb.
(Town of) Gettysburg
Gettysburg, Pennsylvania is one of the most haunted towns in all of the United States. It was home to one of the bloodiest battles during the Civil War, not to mention American History. Here, brother fought against brother, son and father, and the casualties were anything but scarce. The whole town has an array of spirits floating around, not to mention the infamous battlefields. The aura of paranormal is so intense and high in this town, that there is a plethora of ghost tours.

Woodlawn Plantation
Once part of George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate, this plantation has been around since 1805. 18th and 19th century ghosts are said to haunt the plantation including that of George Washington himself.
